When is the right time?
There may come a point in time when a senior can no longer live on their own, so as members of their families, we must make difficult decisions regarding how we handle this situation.
How do I discuss?
Contact us 24/7 and one of out team members will guide you through the process. Our advice is to try an open discussion with your elder and find out what they wish and need.
Is assisted living paid for?
Assisted living facilities are a housing option for people who can still live independently but who need some assistance. Medicare won’t pay for this type of care, but Medicaid might.
Assisted living vs. Nursing home
Residents in a nursing home require around the clock care and monitoring. … By contrast, residents in an assisted living community generally require custodial care.
Private Home vs Assisted Living
Assisted living communities are built to help residents stay mobile, active, and safe. While these are all benefits, there is also less privacy and independence when one lives in an assisted living community.
“ We emphasize dignity, privacy and care. Care not only for the body, but for the mind, heart and soul as well. We understand the importance of providing the warmth of a real home, and the loving tender care that our residents deserve.”
